The Executive Council

Chairman: Cameron Halsall
Cameron has been on the Executive Committee for a number of years and has seen JCC grow to it’s current position and membership.
Most recently Cameron has overseen the successful launch of JCC Corporate Membership.
He works at ILS Fiduciaries.

President: Alexander Duffy
Alex is a past Chairman of JCC and has been involved in a variety of capacities.
During his time on the Council he has worked with the team to improve the quality of events, profit margins and increase JCC membership to its current high.
His background is in Business Commerce, Accountancy & Management.  He works for Blackstoke.
In his spare time he enjoys watching motorsport and supporting McLaren!

Treasurer: Jennifer Oram
Jennifer joined ExCo in 2009 and currently acts as the Committee’s Treasurer. Jennifer is a Chartered Accountant and works at KPMG Isle of Man providing audit and advisory services. In her spare time, she enjoys catching up with family and friends, and doing never-ending DIY and home improvements.

Vice-Chair : Chris Darnill
Chris joined JCC in 2009 and is currently vice chairman, having previously been responsible for Individual & Corporate Membership.
After leaving the armed forces in the late nineties he returned to the Island and started work within the financial services industry, initially within life assurance administration where he qualified as a financial advisor before moving into IT.
Chris is currently IT Development Manager at Hansard Global Plc.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and playing rugby and golf where time permits.

Website and IT:  Owen Cutajar
Owen joined the JCC in 2010 with the aim of building and managing the JCC’s online presence.
He has always had a passion for all things technical, but combines that with a solid background in management disciplines.  He spends his day working with organisations helping them use technology to drive business change and improvements.
His spare time is taken up by family, with a four-year old and twin babies; but he somehow still finds time to build websites and write software as a hobby.

Membership: Gareth Cross
Gareth joined JCC in 2012 and is currently responsible for Individual & Corporate Membership with Ana Gomez.
A career banker Gareth joined RBS International in 1999 and has worked its offshore operations centre and corporate banking arena, where he currently relationship manages a portfolio of local and international corporate and trust service providers, law firms, accountants and local SMEs.  
In his spare time Gareth enjoys spending time with his young family and socialising with friends.

Committee Member: Steve Burdett
Steve is a past President of JCC and has been involved in a variety of capacities since 2004.  Steve now provides the Committee with a wealth of knowledge and contacts and is a sounding board for ideas and events.
He is a qualified International Financial Adviser and has worked with MBL Financial Services since 2005.  Prior to this Steve was a Senior Sales & Relationship Manager for Lloyds TSB International.

Lynsey joined the JCC in 2011 and assists with a variety of capacities.  Lynsey is a chartered accountant and is accounts and audit manager at Browne Craine & Co.  In her spare time Lynsey enjoys keeping up her fitness including playing hockey and netball most weekends
